Design Has the Power to Influence Change

Gina Morin, Certified Green Graphic Designer
I appreciate the power design has to influence positive change and I bring this understanding and expertise to my business. This enables me to help my clients have a significant impact on the issues they feel most passionate about.

Over 29 Years of Experience:
While in college at Salve Regina University, I was an intern at a small ad agency in Newport, RI. After graduating with a BA in Graphic Design, that agency hired me as a Graphic Designer. I then went on to work as an in-house Designer at a large corporation and then as a Creative Director at two marketing agencies in Connecticut. In 2009, I started my business and found that being a “solopreneur” allowed me to work more closely with my clients, helping them to expand their brand presence and visually communicate the quality, importance and purpose of their products and services.

Working with a Team:
I work with established clients that are looking to add a Graphic Designer to their marketing or creative team to help them grow. I have long-term working relationships with my clients—some for over 16 years. They all have ongoing needs for advertising, marketing, and strategic design consulting.

Print and Digital Graphic Design for Advertising & Marketing:
My design work is focused on creating sustainable and effective printed & digital collateral for advertising and marketing—things like direct mail, publications, newsletters, brochures, booklets, invitations, web graphics, promotions for events, and e-mail marketing campaigns—that get my clients results on time and on budget.

Saving the Planet, Veganism and Making a Difference:
I work with clients from a variety of industries, but I am especially passionate about working with businesses and organizations that are eco-conscious or vegan. I practice a plant-based lifestyle and have a special interest in animal rights, saving the planet, and making a difference.

Certified Green Graphic Designer

Through my completion of the Green Graphic Design course, I learned how design intersects with forestry, resource extraction, and climate justice in order to understand how the practice of graphic design can become more eco-friendly. I am passionate about practicing green graphic design through sustainable materials choice, resource use, and considering the lifecycle of each thing I create. Let's chat about how you can make your business a little “greener.”
